Laura Lane’s comedy performances and videos have shown up everywhere including The New Yorker and New York Magazine. She’s performed standup, sketch, readings and performances across the country at SXSW, The Stand, The Strand, UCB, The PIT, Broadway Comedy Club and more. On screen, she’s hosted shows, acted or appeared as a commentator on VH1, MTV, CNN, ESPN, People.com and many more. Her sketch shows have been praised by The Wall Street Journal (“An entertaining ride through some of the curiosities and headaches of modern dating.”) and featured in The New York Times ("Humorous takes on how we date now.") and Time Out New York.

She co-created and starred in the sketch show This Is Why You’re Single, which ran in NYC for two years, became a book translated into seven languages, and was optioned for TV. Her follow-up, the feminist comedy revue Femme Fairy Tales—where Disney princesses discover feminism—ran at UCB, played Chicago Sketch Festival, and became the book Cinderella and the Glass Ceiling (also optioned for TV).
